هڪ ٻوليءَ جو ادب ٻي ٻوليءَ ۾ پيش ڪرڻ. ادب جو ترجمو ثقافتن جي وچ ۾ هڪ پُل مثل هوندو آهي. مترجم نه فقط ٻولين جي ادب کي هڪ ٻئي جي ويجهو آڻي ٿو ۽ ڪنهن قوم جي ثقافت جي حاصلات کي ٻيءَ ثقافت سان شناسائي پيدا ڪرائي ٿو ۽ پڙهندڙن تائين ادب جي رسائي ڪرائي ٿو ، بلڪ جدوجهد ۾ اخلاقيات کي نئون موڙ ڏيڻ ۾ حصو وٺي ٿو. دنيا جي شاهوڪار ٻولين، ٻين ٻولين مان ترجما ڪري پنهنجا دامن ڀريا آهن. رڳو انگريزيءَ جو ئي مثال وٺو دنيا جي ڪهڙي ٻوليءَ جو ڪو چڱيرڙو ڪتاب آهي جو انگريزيءَ ۾ ترجمو ٿيل ڪونهي. جرمن ، چيني، فرينچ، روسي، نارويجن، پولش، عربي، پارسي، سنسڪرت، آئيس لينڊڪ، لٽويائي، اسپيني ۽ هنگرين ۽ دنيا جي ٻين ٻولين جا سوين ڪتاب انگريزي ترجمي جي صورت ۾ شايع ٿيل آهن. ابتدا ۾ سنڌيءَ ۾ پڻ مرزا قليچ بيگ ترجمن ذريعي وسعت آندي.
